Moving Jaw Fursuit Base Canine

This moving jaw fursuit base features pre-modelled hardware pivot points, along with built-in internal anchor loops designed specifically for elastic straps. Unlike spring-loaded jaws that aggressively snap shut, this elastic-driven design provides a smooth, highly responsive return that perfectly mimics a natural canine jaw movement.

The “Detached Nose” Advantage

Getting a clean edge around the nose is usually tough. But, we print the fox nose as a separate part. Now, you can neatly tuck your fur under the mount before you glue it down. This simple trick gives you a clean, pro finish. Also, it makes painting the nose so much easier.

Con-Proof Durability

We print every shell in Scotland using tough PLA+. To keep it strong, we use a thick 3.3mm wall. So, it will easily survive travel and busy cons. We even added extra plastic loops inside the hinge areas. If you tie your elastic here, it gives you a safe spot that never snaps.

Smooth Surface and Easy Furring

The mask is printed to the highest quality so little sanding is needed, you can start your foam work right away. And, the PLA+ plastic sticks perfectly to hot glue and epoxy. This keeps your build safe and secure.

Sizing, Fit, and Authenticity

Kit (17.6cm / ~20″ head circ): The smallest tier, scaled for younger makers or very snug partial fits. Dimensions: 17.6cm (W) x 21.2cm (H) x 21.6cm (L). (Weight: ~238g).

Vixen (19.8cm / ~22″ head circ): The perfect middle ground. Designed for the average adult maker for a balanced, responsive fit. Dimensions: 19.8cm (W) x 23.9cm (H) x 24.3cm (L). (Weight: ~308g).

Tod (22.0cm / ~24″ head circ): The original 100% Mugiwara Cosplay size. Built for maximum interior room, perfect for makers wearing glasses or those who prefer heavy internal padding. Dimensions: 22.0cm (W) x 26.5cm (H) x 27.0cm (L). (Weight: 387g).

Safety & Usage Guidelines

  • Intended Use: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our products are designed as decorative items, wall art, cosplay props, or tabletop accessories. They are not toys and are not intended for play.

  • Masks & Props: If this item is a mask or wearable prop, please note it is for costume use only. It does not provide any impact, respiratory, or UV protection.

  • Recommended Age: 14+ (Collector/Hobbyist Item).

  • Placement: For the safety of younger children, please ensure all items are kept out of reach of those under 36 months, particularly items containing small parts or batteries.

Material Care (PLA)

  • Heat Sensitivity: All our items are 3D printed using PLA (Polylactic Acid), an eco-friendly, biodegradable plastic. Please keep away from direct heat sources (such as radiators, heaters, or hot cars). PLA can soften and warp if exposed to temperatures above 60°C.

  • Cleaning: To clean, simply wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth or a duster. Do not submerge in water or use harsh chemical cleaners.

What to Expect from Your 3D Printed Item

At Alba PrintLabs, we produce your items using high-quality 3D printing technology. While we strive for perfection, this manufacturing process has unique characteristics that make every piece slightly different.

  • Layer Lines & Surface Texture: Unlike injection-moulded plastic which is perfectly smooth, 3D printing builds an object layer by layer. As a result, you will likely see horizontal “layer lines” on the surface of your product. On topography maps, these lines act as contour lines, adding to the detail.

  • Filament & Colour Consistency: We always use high-quality filaments from trusted suppliers. However, slight variations in colour shade can occur between spools. If your item requires a filament swap mid-print, there is a possibility that the colour shade may look slightly different. This is a normal part of the process and is not considered a defect.

Finishing Tip: If you prefer an even smoother finish, the nature of PLA allows for post-processing. You can lightly sand the surface using fine-grit sandpaper.
